Account Executive

Basic Function

  1. Project / event Management
  2. Executes public relations activities for client with an increasing role in direct client involvement.

Qualifications

  1. One-to-two years in agency or equivalent
  2. Ability to write basic documents (i.e. pitch letters, press releases, etc.)
  3. Understands basic principles of public relations and relevant client industries
  4. Possesses judgement skills necessary for client contact
  5. Has knowledge of media and how it functions.

Duties and Responsibilities

Client Service

  1. Works on a range of activities under the direction of supervisors including:
    • research
    • writing
    • event planning/organization
    • logistical support within one or more accounts
  2. Represents client(s) to the media and manages aspects of media relations, including news conferences, promotions, product launches, editorial board meetings, etc.
  3. Exhibits knowledge of print and broadcast production process; ability to deal with designers, producers, and other specialists.
  4. Begins to build relationships with clients by demonstrating a clear understanding in their business and industries.
  5. Implement & execute client events.

Self/Staff Management

  1. Oversees workflow of Account Coordinators and Interns.
  2. Achieves personal monthly utilization targets.

Others

  1. Any additional works assigned by company.
